Lead Technical Analyst



As a Lead Technical analyst, part of Billing Domain, you will have a thorough knowledge of the company’s Billing system and its integrations with CRM, Ordering, and Financial Systems. You will have a sound understanding of SITA billing implemented solution under Kenan FX6, PostgreSQL, Talend and other associated tools (API, etc.) used for application integrations.

You will work within the parameters of SITA’s security processes and standards.


Your role encompasses the validation of both business and technical requirements, assessing system impacts, as well as critically evaluating and providing input on supplier-provided solutions. You will be required to engage in essential technical support tasks for the billing application, including but not limited to support and testing, operational monitoring, patching, and performing technical and impact analyses, all within the guidelines of SITA's established standards and procedures.



 

What you will do:

 

  • Participate and contribute on workshops to understand and scope Billing business requirements or any technical requirements, and review specifications and acceptance criteria’s.
  • Challenge proposed solutions, liaising with technical teams and/or supplier to understand technical impacts on the system, efforts, simplification, review test cases, review delivered documentation.
  • Proactively suggest and implement ways to improve the service to Billing end users, either via application improvements or process changes.
  • Participate in technical integration tests and UAT support with Billing team and/or any third-party service/application providers and verify requirements adherence to the delivered solution.
  • Maintain and ensure all relevant Billing application’s documentation is in place and updated when necessary (i.e., Functional and Technical specification, Interface specification, Test plans, test result, Release Note, Operation manual, Training manual)
  • Work in an Agile environment, actively participate on DevOps daily meetings with supplier and review stories prioritization, sprint scope, and maintain the sprint backlog balancing the requirements of stakeholder’s business / IS.
  • Act as a technical lead for multiple small/medium projects that have significant business impact, participate on the solution definition, implementation scoping, test and deployment follow up.
  • Work effectively with project teams that may be local or distant. You will easily and effectively communicate and negotiate up and down the organizational hierarchy. You should ensure continuous understanding and alignment regarding project progress and guarantee Operational Excellence in accordance with the contract / project terms.



 

 

Key knowledge & skills


  • Minimum of 8 years IT experience with proven experience of OSS/BSS domains specifically on Telecom Billing systems using Kenan FX (Amdocs) with two full lifecycle implementations participation as a Technical Analyst or on Solution architecture.
  • Proven experience across Billing domain mainly: Products, CMS, Pricing, Guiding, Rating models, RC/NRC charges, Usage, Taxation models, Discounts, Billing, Invoicing, Adjustment and Accounting integration and able to deep in depth and understand functional specificities of SITA overall billing solutions.
  • Demonstrate ability to support actively application teams (internal / supplier) and to work under pressure during bill cycles, accept multi-tasking and priority changes (any time) and be flexible enough and innovative on finding solutions and technical initiatives to adapt the new context.
  • An experience in Agile framework or method (i.e., Scrum, Kanban), and understanding of software development life cycle models and Azure DevOps practices would be a must.
  • Experience in Business Analysis and IT solution architecture.
  • Experience with applying ITIL processes and standards for managing application.
  • Knowledge of Unix shell scripting, Azure Cloud Infrastructure, development of Java using REST APIs and Azure Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Excellent group communication skills such as leading discussions, briefing sessions, and telephone conferences in a multi-cultural and diverse business environment. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels i.e., in detail with technical staff/providers and in summary with senior management.
  • University IT Software Engineer or Computer Science degree or equivalent. 
  • Fluent in English.
