
IT Technical Consultant, Security
Our partner is looking for a Technical Consultant with hands-on expertise in security solutions, particularly in Identity and Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), or similar security platforms. In this role, you'll take center stage as a trusted advisor, helping prospective customers understand and experience the value of our partner's comprehensive IT security management portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with prospects and customers (both online and on-site) to understand business and technical needs
- Deliver product presentations, technical demos, and proof-of-concepts tailored to client environments
- Translate business requirements into tailored Identity and Access Management, Privileged Access Management, Security Information and Event Management solutions
- Collaborate with Sales and Account Managers to drive solution alignment and deal closure
- Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and other technical documentation
- Stay updated with product developments, features, and roadmaps & Provide feedback to product teams for continual improvement
- Customer Success: Work closely with customers to understand their IT Security challenges and implement tailored solutions using our partner's products
- Represent the company at industry events, user groups, and conferences to showcase their solutions
Requirements
- Experienced in cybersecurity and information security, with a strong understanding of industry standards and frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR, SOC 2, and Zero Trust security models
- Practical experience with Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR), Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), and identity federations including SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect
- Hands-on experience with comparable tools such as CyberArk, Beyond trust, One identity, ARCON PAM, Okta, Azure AD, or equivalent platforms is required
- Certifications around Certified Identity Management Professional (CIMP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) could be a value add
- Ability to handle customer objections and technical queries confidently
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in Dutch required

Please note that this role is based in Utrecht and will require periodic travel.
